Dopo una lunga assenza dalla blogsfera rientro alla grande con la mia esperienza a Miniaturitalia.
Prima di tutto devo precisare che era la prima esperienza in assoluto ad una Fiera di Miniature sia come visitatrice che come espositore.
E niente di meglio poteva accadermi che esporre con Caterina (Le minis di Cockerina).E proprio da lei vorrei iniziare i miei ringraziamenti:
Caterina é una persona speciale, aver diviso il tavolo con lei è stata un esperienza fantastica sia umanamente che professionalmente.

After a long absence from the blogsfera reentry to the great one with my experience to Miniaturitalia.

Ero stata ad Atene circa 25 anni fa come regalo dei miei genitori per la maturità classica.Tornarci dopo tutto questo tempo è stata una forte emozione ma anche una grande delusione.Ricordavo una città piena di vita,di negozi, di gente allegra.La speculazione edilizia sta soffocando tutto ciò che di bello e caratteristico possedeva questa città.
Solo il Partenone conserva la sua maestosità malgrado il trascorrere del tempo,gli eventi e i perenni lavori di restauro!
**I had been to Athens around 25 years ago as gift of my parents for the classical maturity.To return us after this whole time has been a strong emotion but also a great disappointment.I remembered a city full of life, of shops, of happy people.The building speculation is suffocating all of this that of beautiful and characteristic it possessed this city.
Only the Partenone preserves its majesty despite to spend some time, the events and the perennial ones work of restore!

Nessuno degli edifici antichi,l'università,le scuole,la biblioteca,gli scavi archeologici sono stati toccati o sporcati dai manifestanti.

Prima tappa della mia crociera la Sicilia.In questa regione non ero mai stata quindi è stata una esperienza nuova per me.Ovviamente non essendoci molto tempo per fare escursioni ho scelto di andare a Taormina.
Non voglio annoiarvi con cenni storici che se volete approfondire potete trovare in web,ma vi faccio una carrellata fotografica della cosa che mi ha colpito di più....I balconi.

Ora sono a casa.Quello che vedete nelle foto è il posto in cui vivo.Da quì è iniziata la mia avventura di crociera e quì è finita.
Ed è proprio da quì che vi racconterò il mio viaggio.

"Have just returned!!!"The cruise has been marvelous: luxury, confort, new friends, little darlings, set marvelous, shopping, good food.

Sono molto emozionata perchè un sogno si avvera!Domenica 4 Settembre partirò per una crocera nel Mediterraneo Orientale.Visiterò la Sicilia, Atene (che già conosco),la Turchia e alla fine Creta.
Oltra alle terre stupende che toccherò viaggerò su una delle navi più grandi del mondo:Navigator of the Sea della flotta della Royal.
Avro modo di incontrare tante persone di diverse nazionalità e di parlare un pò di inglese.Spero di fare molto shopping e chissa forse troverò anche qualche miniatura.Per ora vi abbraccio tutte e ci sentiamo per il 12 settembre!

I am very excited because a dream comes true!Sunday 4 September I will depart for a cruise in the Oriental Mediterranean.I will visit Sicily, Athens (what I already know), Turkey and at the end Creta.
In addition to the wounderful pleces that I will touch I will travel on one of the greatest ships of the World:Navigator of the Sea of the fleet of the Royal.

La facciata della casa country è in fase di completamento.Ho deciso di ambientare la mia casa americana nel periodo che precede Halloween.Quindi è autunno!

Per le misure non ho esigenze particolari.Deve contenere delle verdure perse nell'orto.Per la stella eventualmente la faccio io con i fogli di rame cotto.Rosanna non ho assolutamente fretta e se dovessi ricevere qualche cesto in più non mi dispiacerebbe riempirlo di stoffine country e gomitoli.Grazie a tutte di esservi offerte ovviamente contraccambierò o con uno swap o vi pagherò i cestini!

Mi sono innamorata di questo cestino!La foto è di un cestino scala 1:1 ma io lo vorrei realizzato in scala 1:12 da inserire nella cucina e da riempire di verdure.Purtroppo non sono capace d'intrecciare.Ho guardato sia su ebay che etsy ma non ho trovato niente che gli somigliasse.Se qualcuno è in grado di realizzarlo sarei disposta ad uno swap o a pagarlo.

Ho creato un piccolo baule per il sotto tetto del secondo piano.Infatti c'e' una parte che ha il tetto spiovente e quindi difficile da arredare.
Sono partita da un mobile in legno grezzo e l'ho decorato con un immagine primitive che amo molto.

New Casserole design/Pentole rustiche

Prima dell'abbandono del forno(ma lo stanno aggiustando!:-))avevo creato queste due pentole e le ho decorate in stile rustico.La prima con decals di vegetali...per una buona zuppa di verdure!
Per la seconda ho optato per lo stile vecchia Toscana con cui ho creato già dei barattoli(nei vecchi post).
**Before the abandonment of the oven (but are repairing it!:-))I had created these two casseroles and I have decorated them in rustic style.The first with decals of vegetables...for a good soup!
For the second one I have opted for the old Tuscany style with which I have already created some jars (in the old posts).

Per una serie di sfortunati eventi(forno rotto,e piccoli incidenti)non ho potuto lavorare la mia amata terracotta così mi sono dedicata alla porcellana utilizzando dei decals dai colori più delicati di quelli che uso di solito.Il risultato mi sembra molto dolce e soft!
*For a series of unlucky events (oven broken, and small accidents) I have not been able to work my beloved terracotta so I have devoted to the porcelain using some decalss from the most delicate colors of those that use usually.The result seems me very sweet and soft!

Mentre facevo pulizia tra colori e pennelli ho trovato dei fogli di carta velluto molto strana.Aveva le dimensioni di un foglio per stampante ed era abbastanza rigida da poterla inserire per la stampa.Non mi ricordo neanche dove l'ho comprata e quanto tempo fa...ma sopratutto non so a cosa serva in realtà.
*While I was doing cleaning between colors and brushes I have found some sheets of paper velvet very strange.It had the dimensions of a sheet for printing and it was enough rigid to be been able to insert for the press.I don't even remember me where I have bought it and how much a long time ago...but I don't know to thing serves in reality.

Lo so sono in grande ritardo nel mostrarvi le meraviglie che ho ricevuto dalla bravissima Caterina.Spero mi perdonerà.

Un lato è sritto in italiano l'altro in inglese così si può scegliere se inserirlo in un a cucina made in Italy oppure internazionale.Ovviamente si può riempire di verdure e cipolle in miniatura.

These are my two new creations on sale on Etsy shop (push the logo).It deals with two models of crocks double face. A side is written in Italian the other in English so you can chosee if to insert it into a kitchen made in Italy or international.Obviously you can fill it with vegetables and onions in miniature.

Ecco alcune ceramiche che ho creato qualche tempo fa!Non sono dipinte ma ho applicato dei decal.Le ceramiche sono fatte con stampi al silicone.
Sono tutte vendute....ma presto...se gli studi universitari me lo permetteranno vorrei farne altre....magari da regalare alle amiche di swap!

Qualche tempo fa Ingrid aveva creato un mini rack per gli stivali.Io le ho suggerito di farne uno più piccolo per le pantofole.Ovviamente non solo lo ha realizzato ma me lo ha inviato con altri doni: un angelo e un tappeto molto chic per la mia casa parigina,un quadro per la casa country e un mini kit creato da lei per fare la lavanda che è uno dei miei fiori preferiti.
